Privacy Statement for the Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method
My website uses the “Scalable Central Measurement Method / Skalierbares Zentrales Messverfa- hren / SZM“ of INFOnline (https://www.infonline.de) for levying statistical data on the use of our web offers. In course of the measurement, anonymized data is levied. The SZM measurements of the reach of websites either use a cookie with the denomination “ivwbox.de“ or a signature created from automatically transmitted data of your system for identifying computers. IP addresses are not stored by this measurement method and are only processed in anonymized form.
The method for measuring the reach of websites has been developed in accordance with current data protection and privacy guidelines. The purpose of measuring the reach is to get reliable statis- tical data on the number of users and the intensity of the use of the website. At no time single users are identified in course of the measurement. Their identity will always be protected. They will not receive any advertisements via the measurement system.
For websites which are members of the IVW German Audit Bureau of Circulation (Informationsge- meinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V., www.ivw.eu, founding mem- ber of the International Federation of Audit Bureaux of Circulations – IFABC) or take part in the “in- ternet facts“ study of the AGOF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e.V., www.agof.de), the statistics of the use of the website are published each month by AGOF, ag.ma (Arbeitsgemein- schaft Media-Analyse e.V., www.agma-mmc.de) and the IVW and can be viewed online at http://www.agof.de, http://www.agma-mmc.de and http://www.ivw.eu.
In addition to the publication of the measurement data, the IVW also examines the SZM method regularly in regard to its compliance with legal data protection and privacy regulations.
