Raising Me Sprouts

My last week ( in terms of cooking) was dominated by raising my own sprouts…

Actually raising sprouts is quite easy. You can use a glass, perforate the lid with a hammer and a nail so that oxygen gets inside. then first wash the seeds (buy in the Bioladen/ Organic Grocery Store), then water them overnight ( add two times as much water as seeds) then away with the water and just leave the glass down under, so that the excess water can run out (lean against a glass or in a bowl)…wait…

I enjoyed them with boiled millet (Hirse), white cabbage, fennel, onion, cellery and grilled tofu…

Or - even easier: I used a plastic mold I saved from cress I bought at the supermarket, put some wet cotton inside and…waited…
